Kilimanjaro

At 5,895m, Mt. Kilimanjaro is one of the largest volcanoes ever to break through the Earth's crust. Your aim is to reach its summit via the Rongai route which begins just south of the Kenya-Tanzania border in attractive farmland and delightful forest before tackling the approach to the ice-capped summit to the roof of Africa.

Everest Base Camp
3-19 December 2010
This outstanding trek to the base camp of the world's highest mountain will take you through the lush valleys of Sagarmatha National Park, before trekking to a highpoint at Kalapathar (5,545m) with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers including Mt. Everest. On completing the challenge you will have the chance to explore the city of Kathmandu and its many temples and bazaars.

Great Wall of China
16-24 October 2010
Your trekking challenge starts in Jinshanling with a vigorous trek that loops along the mountains either side of the Gubeikou Gateway. Each day you will trek approximately 12kms along the stony path, twisting and winding its way along the mountains, interspersed with crumbling watchtowers. It is demanding but also very rewarding, particularly on a clear day when you can look at the vast and beautiful mountain ranges.

Machu Pichu

This ever-popular trip will see you trek at altitude to the ruins at Machu Pichu, the lost "City of the Incas" which are nestled between two peaks high in the Andes. The ruins were rediscovered in 1911 by Yale Hiram Bingham and are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic sites in the world.

High Atlas Mountains

This challenge offers a tough, yet incredibly rewarding trek combining unforgettable mountain scenery with the splendour and colour of Morocco and its traditional people, the Berbers. Morocco is a country full of mysticism and mythology, and in the midst of it all lies the High Atlas mountain range, home to Jebel Toubkal one of the tallest peaks in North Africa, standing at 4,167m.
