Social Events

Social events are a key aspect of our fundraising activities. We're incredibly lucky to have some high-profile supporters across the spectrum - from dancers through to sports stars, TV presenters and even some touches of rock 'n' roll history. And, of course, royalty, through our Patron, Prince Harry. Not only do they help to raise the profile of our annual WellChild Awards, they raise WellChild's own profile, which we need if we're to help even more sick children.

Social events needn't only be a star-studded affair though. Many supporters organise their own events - raising money through raffles, auctions and ticket sales.

Recent events

Summer Fair - 8 and 9 June 2010

WellChild’s annual summer fair was on 8 and 9 June 2010 at Bourton House, Bourton-on-the-Hill. Hundreds attended the event and enjoyed a fantastic array of stalls as well as the beautiful gardens.

Despite the goalless score line, a fantastic evening was had by all who attended the screening event.  The England legends answered questions after the match and signed autographs.
