Payroll Giving

One of the most simple and tax efficient ways to give to WellChild is through your monthly salary – and it helps us because we rely on a regular stream of income to carry out many of our projects, and to fund our nurses and researchers.

Because monthly payroll giving donations are taken from your gross salary, a £10 donation to WellChild each month would cost just £8, and only £6 for a higher-rate tax payer. And because it goes out of your salary automatically, you'll hardly notice the difference.

Many companies also choose to match the amounts contributed by their employees, which could make your donation even more valuable.

Ask your company if they run a Payroll Giving scheme. If they do, you simply need to complete the forms they give you. If your company doesn’t have a scheme, the Charities Aid Foundation can offer them advice on
