Health Advisory Panels - Dr Edward Wozniak

Dr Edward Wozniak is a Consultant Paediatrician at St Mary’s Hospital, Portsmouth . Since his appointment in 1985, he has held  a number of management roles including Chair of the Portsmouth and SE Hants Local Research Ethics Committee 1992-1998, member of the Hants and IOW SHA Child Health Network 2003-6 and has been an Associate Medical Director in Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust since 2002.

He was Programme Director then Paediatric Specialty Training Committee Chair at Wessex Deanery 1996-2002.

He has been involved with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as an Examiner since 1997, Wessex Regional Adviser 1999-2002, College Council member 2002-2006, Chair of the General Paediatric Specialty Advisory Committee 2003-2006 and Chair of the Quality of Practice Committee in 2005-2006.

He has been a member of NICE Partners Council since 2003 and a member of NICE Topic Selection Consideration Panel for Children, Adolescents and Maternity since 2007.

He has been Professional Adviser in Paediatrics to the Partnerships for Children, Families and Maternity , Department of Health since 2006.
