Health Advisory Panels - Janice MacKenzie RGN, RSCN, BSc, MSc

Janice is currently employed as Chief Nurse for Children’s Services at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.

Prior to returning to work in Edinburgh, Janice worked for a number of years at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. She is an experienced children’s nurse and has worked in a variety of settings within children’s services.

She is currently the Chair of the Strategic Paediatric Educationalists & Nurses Scotland (SPENS) Group, and a member of the Association of Chief Children’s Nurses (UK).  She is a member of a number of national groups within Scotland including the Scottish Government Children & Young People’s Health Support Group and NHS Education Scotland Nursing & Midwifery Advisory Group.
