Energy Dinner - 22 April 2010

The movers and shakers in the energy industry are already looking forward to one of the big dates of next year on April 22, 2010 when they will gather for the annual Platts-sponsored Energy Dinner.

Once again the glamorous dinner will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane, London. As well as dinner and entertainment, there will be an auction with fabulous lots such as a three night stay on board a luxury 53' catamaran moored off the coast of Durban kindly donated by African Charters.

Of last year's event, WellChild Director of Communications Colin Dyer said: “We are delighted and honoured to have the support of the energy industry at this annual dinner.

“The fact that guests at this year’s event (April 2009) raised enough money to fund a WellChild Children’s Nurse clearly demonstrates the importance of the dinner which has now been raising vital funds for WellChild and seriously ill children in the UK for six years. Over that time, the Energy Dinner has raised more than £850,000 and we will be going for the million next year."
